Parents and guardians

For parents

The practical things for those of you with children at Demoskolen: absence, leave, food, clothes and transport.

01Skoleklokka

What you do once you have logged in

Parents log in to Skoleklokka with the log-in button at the top of the page. There you can:

  • report an absence when your child is ill, ideally before 08:30

  • apply for leave, which the head teacher answers

  • read and answer messages from the form teacher

  • see homework, the weekly plan and the invoices for school fees

On this demo website the log-in button opens a demo with made-up pupils.

02FAU

The parents' council

Each year group picks a parent representative in the autumn, and they meet as the council (FAU) four times a year. FAU runs the Christmas market and the end-of-year party together with the school.

If you want to raise something, contact the parent representative for your child's year. Their name is in the form teacher's message at the start of the school year.

Food, clothes and transport

  • Food

Pupils bring a packed lunch. You can also order school lunch, a hot meal three days a week.

  • Clothes

We are outside every day and have outdoor school at least one day a week. Put names on clothes and leave a change of clothes at school.

  • Transport

If you live far from the school, your child may have the right to free transport. The office helps you apply.
